About

The New Way is a free email every weekday morning about AI coding: what shipped, what matters, what’s next — checked against the receipts before it reaches you. Since August 13 we haven't missed a weekday, holidays aside.

We cover the tools developers actually work in — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, the open models and the agents built on them — and we read the primary source for every claim. When a launch thread’s number doesn’t match the docs, the issue says so. When we get one wrong, the correction runs in the next issue and on the original post, the same day, and it is listed on our corrections page.

Most days it’s the digest: a handful of stories, each one linked to where it came from. Some days it’s a deep dive on the question everyone is arguing about. Fridays add the tools that are rising but not yet on anyone’s list.

The people we read to build it are public: our Bluesky starter pack and feed list every source. The full archive is on this site. What we cover and how we check it is on AI coding news.

The New Way is written with AI. It gathers the day's stories, checks them against their sources and drafts every summary. A person decides what runs and reviews every issue before we hit send.

Reply to any issue; a person reads every one. We’re also on Bluesky and X as @thenewwayai.
